The first live webcast was a success and much thanks to Larissa and Tracy, and a shout-out to Tracy's family in Washington state.

2010 marks a new year and a new decade. For LocalSongwriters, this year marks a new beginning. This website sets out to one thing and do it well: to bring the experience of live music to anyone with access to the web.

In the coming months, you will gain access to places in Music City that until now were only bricks-and-mortar venues. Until now, these places, historic they may be, did not have virtual existence on the web. LocalSongwriters is truly the next best thing to see the show in person.

Many developments are happening here. It's an exciting time to be a music fan. If you haven't already, I encourage you to follow LSW on Twitter. It's the best way to stay informed of upcoming events, and I promise no fluff tweets!
